There are many makes and models of coffee makers available to coffee drinkers today. One of the most popular models for brewing coffee is the Zojirushi EC-DAC50 Zutto 5-Cup Drip Coffeemaker
. This type of coffee maker allows the user to pour water into a container which then heats the water and pours it through a basket which holds the ground coffee. The basket then allows the water to slowly drip and thus brews the coffee.

The coffee then drips from the basket into the carafe which is sitting on a hot plate type warmer. This keeps the coffee at a warm drinking temperature. The trouble with this type of coffee making system is that the coffee sits in the carafe and the coffee becomes bitter. This is because these models continue to slowly cook the coffee.

Zojirushi now makes a Zojirushi EC-DAC50 Zutto 5-Cup Drip Coffeemaker
While it basically uses the same type of system to brew the coffee initially, it stores the coffee in a thermal stainless steel carafe which keeps the coffee warm for hours without “burning” the coffee and changing its taste.

The Zojirushi EC-DAC50 Zutto 5-Cup Drip Coffeemaker
makes and stores up to ten cups of coffee at a time. The Zojirushi EC-DAC50 Zutto 5-Cup Drip Coffeemaker
keeps the coffee at 144 degrees for 10 hours and at 117 degrees for up to 24 hours. Another feature is an electric clock timer. This allows the user to set the coffee to brew at a desired time. It also a pause-to-serve feature so it is convenient for serving while the coffee maker is still brewing.
